Vascular Surgeon – Full-Time Opportunity

Location: New York, NY | Brooklyn, NY | Staten Island, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $300,000–$400,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Vascular Surgeon to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with vascular diseases. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent surgical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and venous insufficiency.
• Conduct patient consultations, vascular examinations, and comprehensive medical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ medical histories and diagnostic findings.
• Perform open vascular surgeries and endovascular procedures within the physician’s scope of practice and privileges.
• Order and interpret vascular diagnostic studies, including duplex ultrasound and CT angiography.
• Manage preoperative evaluations, postoperative care, and long-term patient follow-up.
• Educate patients on vascular health, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with applicable healthcare regulations and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency or an appropriate integrated vascular surgery training program.
• Completion of accredited vascular surgery fellowship training, as applicable to the candidate’s training pathway.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and patient-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency required; additional languages are a plus.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
