Shottenkirk Chevrolet KIA of Quincy is looking for a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Manager in Training to join our growing team in Quincy, Illinois. • $15.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, and detail new and pre-owned vehicles to dealership standards
• Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, upholstery, dashboards, trim, and glass
• Perform paint correction, buffing, polishing, and protective coatings as needed
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure exceptional quality and presentation
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery
• Learn to coordinate daily workflow and prioritize detailing assignments
• Assist with inventory management for detailing products and equipment
• Help train and mentor detailing team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Safely move vehicles throughout the dealership lot
• Support the Detail Manager with department operations, scheduling, and quality control

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
